Our Vision
We originally started as a "pro bono" service - writing excellent thought leadership articles with free advice to Sub Saharan Africa entrepreneurs who ordinarily wouldn't afford world class advisory. We helped them identify the "best sector for investment." We grew the subscriber base rapidly and some were even willing to pay for our expertise.
We see a world where an entrepreneur will start with us as a small startup and never have to leave our business eco system for they will find all they need, until they become a unicorn - that is an Initial Public Offering (IPO). At that point, we shall kick them out - it will be graduation day.

Mr. Dickson E Wasake, FCCA.

Dickson has lived and worked in Africa, the Caribbean, the UK and the US. He currently lives in Algonquin, IL with his family who have been cajoling him for a pet dog, but thus far he has only allowed them to walk a fish.
Dickson is a UK chartered accountant (FCCA) and an exam qualified US CPA. He has over 20 years of experience. He started his professional career with Big 4 firm PwC but has also worked with other global firms such as Baker Tilly and Deloitte. He has knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and UK GAAP (FRS 102) and has worked with large, listed clients (including SEC/PCAOB and LSE clients) as well as Small/Medium entities (SMEs).
His notable clients and sector experience include:

Financial services - a Central Bank, a $1.4 trillion (Assets under Manager) insurer, an $800 billion global investment manager, a $13 billion SEC registered manager.

Manufacturing - a $5 billion steel manufacturer and Coca -Cola and Unilever subsidiaries.

Public sector - World Bank/IDB, DANIDA and UN funded projects.

Agriculture - a 25,000 sugar manufacturer. A 10,000 coffee grower.

Assorted. A listed crypto investment manager, a diamond mine.
Dickson has undertaken various trainings/certifications including as a life insurance producer (Illinois), a financial services expert (Deloitte) , understanding financial markets (Yale), AI/RegTech/FinTech (University of Pennsylvania), Leadership (Chicago Booth School of Business), Fraud (West Virginia University).
